Clean and well-maintained rooms and toilets. Good location, conveniently situated in the heart of the town.
Noisy at night due to the presence of tourists. It is actually a hostel rather than an Albergue de Peregrinos.

Clean, well-appointed hostel. Friendly staff, consistently mopped toilets and showers. Beds have own powerpoint and lamp, with full set of sheets and doona. Large room with 4 beds per cubicle and curtain. Separate kitchen like a cafeteria. Great wifi.

the clean, modern hostel in Redondela exceeded my expectations. The curtained-off areas with double bunk beds were comfortable and private. The spotless and spacious toilet and shower room were appreciated. The on-site breakfast was a great way to start the day.
Inconvenient bunk bed design.

I've never stayed in an alburgue before, but Santiago De Vilavella exceeded my expectations! It's conveniently located on the Camino and the staff is incredibly helpful. The beds were comfortable, the showers had great pressure and hot water, and there were lockers to secure our belongings. The design of the quadruple compartments was well thought out, with a bed, locker, and electrical socket for each person. The whole place was impeccably clean, and having a kitchen available was a nice touch. Plus, the staff spoke more than just Spanish, which was a pleasant surprise.
I do recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a lovely dormitory called Santiago De Vilavella in Redondela. It was a great place to stay while on my Camino pilgrimage. The kitchen was well equipped with a washing and dry machine, and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect and the common room was spacious and clean. The showers and toilets were also well-maintained. The staff was friendly and spoke multiple languages, which was a pleasant surprise. The dormitory was designed with the needs of pilgrims in mind, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay. I also appreciated the cleanliness and the availability of a kitchen for coffee, tea, and snacks. Additionally, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The staff here was great and they actually spoke multiple languages, which was a nice surprise in Spain! the design of the dormitory was well-thought-out for pilgrims, with noise-proof doors and individual compartments that had everything you needed, including a bed, locker, and electrical socket. - the whole place was incredibly clean, which was a relief after a long day on the Camino. - Having a kitchen available with the option to order coffee and snacks was a bonus. - the location was convenient, close to the city center where you could find markets, restaurants, and ATMs.
I did have a bit of a problem with the initial smell in my bed, which turned out to be above the sewer, but they were quick to change it when I brought it up. The stairs for the bunk bed were a bit tough after a long day of walking.

Comfortable and clean beds, perfect for a good night's sleep. Self-service kitchen/bar with a good selection of items. Convenient location for those doing the Portuguese Ways of the Camino.
No terrace or balcony to dry clothes, only a rack inside. Lack of privacy in the dormitory setting, with thin plywood dividing sections.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in Redondela for a week during my hiking trip on the Camino path. The hostel had a spacious and clean layout, with curtains for added privacy in the dorms. The beds were comfortable, each with its own power outlet and lamp. The bathrooms were well-maintained and spacious. The hostel's location was perfect, right on the route and close to everything I needed. The staff were friendly and the wifi was great. I loved the unique design of having only four beds in each cubicle, giving me more privacy than traditional bunk beds.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
